diver ed's cruise 'n theater

a couple weeks back we (cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents) went on board the starfish enterprisethis may have been the best adventure (and we had many) this summer.

(although the beaches were great fun!!) the boat belongs to diver ed, his wife who i only know as captain evil and their two small (ha) dogs.

the way the trip works...is we all board the boat,

cruise out beyond and behind some islands (and wave to bar harbor on our way by),

diver ed...dives, after the kids push him off,

we learn what equipment he uses and watch (he has an underwater camera he brings with him) *who* he encounters, he comes back onto the boat with a treasure bag full of sea creatures,

he talks about them, demonstrates how they eat (with our cousin),

we touch them (don't squeeze too hard zevy!),

he sticks them in his mouth, we laugh (a lot), he dumps them back and voila!  diver ed is super entertaining and beyond funny.  his wife is who talks about their equipment and narrates while he is under the water.  they really are a great team.  i believe i was laughing 80% of the time we were on board.

and here are some of the other photos, just a few more out of the one hundred plus that i took...

the end.
